Data from: The number of days required for oviposition initiation under long-day conditions in females which were developed under short-day and long-day conditions

Dataset of the number of days required for oviposition initiation under long-day conditions in females which were developed under short-day and long-day conditions in social spider mites: <i>Stigmaeopsis miscanthi</i> mild aggression (ML) form, <i>Stigmaeopsis miscanthi</i> high aggression (HG) form and <i>Stigmaeopsis sabelisi</i>, which were used for analysis in the paper entitled "Phenotypic variability and thermal adaptation in social spider mites: Insights into speciation and local adaptation".　Although not used in the paper, data on short-day to short-day, long-day to short-day and long-day to short-day daylength conditions for development - oviposition are also included.
