Fifteen soil cores (50 cm from the mulberry tree trunk at a depth of 0–20 cm) (using GPS to fix the position) were periodically collected at random from per plot of nitrogen fertilizer application of 4-year-old (4Y), 17-year-old (17Y) and 32-year-old (32Y) and mixed to form one composite sample, respectively. The samplings took place in November 2013 and 2014.
