Mechanical Strain Drives Myeloid Cell Differentiation Toward Pro-Inflammatory Subpopulations

We quantify the effects of mechanical strain on three-dimensional (3D) cultured mouse myeloid cells at the cellular and transcriptomic level using single cell RNA-sequencing. We demonstrate that mechanical stress induces pro-inflammatory fates.
