Performance Evaluation of Internal Insulation Systems with Smart Vapour Retarders in European Climates — Data and Code

This repository provides scripts and results for the study on smart vapour retarders (SVRs) applied to internal insulation of historic brick walls across European climates. We use hygrothermal (HAM) simulations (Delphin 6.1) to assess moisture safety and thermal performance. Contents: codes/: MATLAB scripts to create (.d6p), run, and export Delphin simulations (including calculateMGI.m). results/: MATLAB .mat outputs for scenarios (NoVR, SVRA–SVRD; includes averaged variants). docs/: README and GuideToCreateD6P.txt (parameters, paths, and workflow). Climate files (.c6b) are not redistributed due to licensing; instructions to obtain/convert them are provided. Data are licensed CC BY 4.0; code in codes/ is MIT-licensed (see LICENSE files).
