Data from: The clinical characteristics and risk factors of steroid-induced ocular hypertension following pars plana vitrectomy

This dataset contains anonymized clinical data from 540 patients who underwent 23-gauge pars plana vitrectomy at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University between January 2019 and March 2022. The data were collected to investigate the incidence and risk factors of steroid-induced ocular hypertension (SIOH) following vitrectomy.Variables include patient demographics (age, sex), preoperative characteristics (myopia status, lens status, primary diagnosis), intraoperative procedures (phacoemulsification, cryotherapy, laser, tamponade type), postoperative management (days of topical and systemic steroid use), and outcomes (occurrence of IOP ≥23 mmHg and ≥30 mmHg, maximum IOP, onset day, duration of IOP elevation, and treatments used).The dataset supports the findings reported in the associated manuscript titled "The clinical characteristics and risk factors of steroid-induced ocular hypertension following pars plana vitrectomy."
