Analysis of floral scent amount between two Arabidopsis thaliana accessions

We compared two natural accessions of Arabidopsis thaliana (Col-0 and Fr-2) regarding scent amount emitted from their flowers. RNA sequencing of flowers revealed different profiles of floral transcriptome, and F2 mapping population between the two accessions designated that Group B sesquiterpene amount is associated with a genomic region located in chromosome 5.
