Currents and Satellite Images for the Santa Barbara Channel/ Santa Maria Basin Study; begun October 1991

This dataset consists of current and temperature measurements from
moorings, drifters, and satellite images. These data are part of an
ongoing program (as of early 1994), so the contents may change. The
study is focused on currents along the southern California coast.

The following data acquired during the experiment are available at the
Data Zoo as of December 1993 (see below for more information and
access instructions).

The Data Zoo

The Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) of the Scripps Institution of
Oceanography, University of California, San Diego, has developed an
on-line database of physical oceanographic data organized by
experiment, and referred to as the 'Data Zoo.' The animals in this
'zoo' are the individual data sets, one of which is described
above. The zoo is funded by the Mineral Management Service, Bureau of
Land Management, Department of the Interior.
