资源简介:
The hereby provided Matlab files contain the single unit spike counts together with paradigm information used in the analyses conducted on the electrophysiological data of Winkelmeier et al. 2022 (Nature Communications). Data are saved as separate structures for units recorded in the olfactory tubercle (Tu) and anterior piriform cortex (aPC). The structures collect in different rows information relative to single units pooled from multiple recording sessions. Each row contains the following information: - unitID: Identification number of the single unit. - region: Recording site of the single unit. - meanFiringRate: Mean firing rate of the single unit. - odorIDs: Identity of the odor presented in each of the 150 trials of the corresponding session. The following odor identity coding was used: 5 for CS100; 9 for CS50; 8 for CS100. - reward: Binary vector indicating in the i-th entrance whether a trial i was rewarded or not. The following coding was used: 1 for rewarded trials; 0 for unrewarded trials. - binsize: Bin size in milliseconds for non-overlapping binning (bins of 250 ms moved in time with steps of 250 ms). - spikeCounts: Matrix (of dimension n. trials x n. bins in a trial) with single unit spike counts binned with non-overlapping bins of 250 ms. Row i of the matrix contains the spike counts in trial i from -2000 ms to 10000 ms from odor onset. - binsize_overlap: Bin size in milliseconds for sliding-window binning (bins of 500 ms moved in time with steps of 125 ms). - spikeCounts_overlap: Matrix (of dimension n. trials x n. bins in a trial) with single unit spike counts binned with partially overlapping bins of 500 ms moved in time with steps of 125 ms. Row i of the matrix contains the spike counts in trial i from -2000 ms to 10000 ms from odor onset.
