Ultrasound, audio, nasalance, and EGG recordings were made for three varieties of Chinese, namely Chaoshan, Changsha, and Shanghai, for understanding cross-linguistic nasal vowel production. Data from 8 speakers of Chaoshan Chinese, 6 speakers of Changsha Chinese, and 6 speakers of Shanghai Chinese were analysed in my thesis.
