Metagenomic and colonization study of bacterial communities in recently deglaciated soils of two glacier forefields in the Swiss Alps with different bedrock geology. The Tiefen forefield with a siliceous and the Griessen forefield with a calcareous bedrock. Sieved unsterilised and sterilised soils from both forefields were incubated in the 'home' of 'away' environment to determine colonization of the surrounding bacteria to colonize the newly incubated soil with concurrence (unsterilized) or without concurrence (sterilised) from 2011 to 2014.
