资源简介:
Colorectal cancer is a chronic inflammation-associated tumor and the immune system, besides protecting the host from developing tumors, can support the CRC progression. In this scenario, due to its capability to elicit the production of cytokines, gut microbiota is essential to modulate immune response, influencing immunostimulatory or immunosuppressive reactions. So, the investigation of the microbiota-immunity axis in healthy and tumor mucosa is crucial to well understand the cancer development with positive relapses in prevention and treatment. Total DNA was extracted from tumoral and surrounding healthy mucosa samples of 40 patients affected by colorectal cancer CRC patients and amplicons of variable V3–V4 regions of the bacterial 16s rRNA gene were sequenced.
