Owl monkey pedigree sequencing for variant and de novo mutation identification. Aotus nancymaae

Whole genome sequencing (~30X coverage) was performed on 30 Aotus nancymaae (owl monkey or Ma's night monkey) individuals from 6 pedigrees using the Illumina HiSeq platform at the Human Genome Sequencing Center, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM-HGSC). Variants were called within these samples by comparison to the reference assembly of Aotus nancymaae. The pedigree information was used to identify de novo mutations within the samples and mutation rates per generation for this species.
