资源简介:
The data sets made available concern the stress-strain evolution of SAE 5120 steel for temperatures between 850°C and 1200°C and strain rates between 0.01s-1 and 10 s-1. These trends were obtained from axisymmetric compression tests carried out in a vacuum using a Gleeble 3500 thermomechanical system under constant and transient deformation conditions. The tests were carried out on samples with nominal dimensions of 15mm height and 10mm diameter. Raw test data (time, force, displacement, specimen temperature, strain, stress) are first given for these tests performed under constant conditions. (File Name : Raw_Data_SAE_5120.xlsx) The raw data were processed to correct for variations due to adiabatic heating and variations in strain rates during the compression tests. These data appear as corrected data and are obtained from the average of the raw tests. (File Name : Corrected_Data_SAE_5120.xlsx) Finally, the corrected data for this steel was used to determine the austenite flow stress as a function of strain rate and temperature using an incremental formulation. These data are also available. (File Name : Law_Data_SAE_5120.xlsx). All the parameters of the incremental formulation are given in the file “Parameters of constitutive description for 20MnCr5 steel.pptx”. This formulation takes into account dynamic recrystallisation and the evolution of the recrystallised volume fraction. This approach provides a very accurate description of the experimental values of the flow stress of the material during deformation.
