资源简介:
This dataset is a component of a multi-methods, qualitative, cross-sectional research project aimed at understanding context-specific pathways to anaemia in Ghana. The study was conducted in the Central, Northern and Volta regions of Ghana. The target population was adolescent girls (15-19 years old); adult women of reproductive age (WRA) (20-49 years old); and men (20 years and older). Two districts were selected in the Central region, three in the Northern region, and three in the Volta region. Districts that best represented the ecology and animal source food (ASF)-related activities of each region were selected. In each of the eight selected districts, two communities were purposively selected based on elevated anaemia prevalence, predominant ASF-related livelihoods and logistical accessibility to the communities.
