Desarrollo sostenible, aprendizaje desde el capital natural y discontinuidad tecnológica

This research explores the relationship between sustainable development, innovation and the so called “learning from natural capital” process, which was still largely ignored by economists who study the sustainability policies topic. : the analysis of the capability to possess natural resources to provide technological goods and services oriented to the increase of the human (economic) welfare. This research will be considered as an exercise in persuasion it intends to call attention to certain specific economic issues (such as conditions of optimum use of technological resources from the Natural Capital, the need for an economic policy and application of appropriate instruments), through the use of appropriate analysis tools (evidence and models). We believe that, in this way, this investigation can be useful to illuminate certain aspects that are important for diagnosis, analysis and construction of appropriate responses regarding the process of "Learning from natural capital".
