Molecular investigation and genetic characterization of chicken infectious anemia virus (CIAV) in Bangladesh

Chicken infectious anemia (CIA) caused by the anemia virus (CAV), is one of the most economically important poultry diseases distributed worldwide. This virus causes severe immunosuppression and anemia in the bird which may lead to secondary bacterial infections. Mortality may be noticed in the flock of 2-3 weeks aged chicks.
