Los Angeles City Surface Classification Results

This research aims to classify LA city surfaces based on their characteristics of color, which has a direct impact on surface temperature. Using pixel-based and object-based classification, the surfaces for Roof, Streets and Sidewalks and Parking lots are classified into Dark, Light, and Green subcategories. This dataset has three geodatabases that contain the imagery layers for these three categories.
