Visual Disassembly Observations for a Single-Use Surgical Device

This DiCE supplementary research dataset documents an exploratory manual disassembly of a single-use surgical device. It contains de-identified structured observations concerning packaging, component accessibility, connection methods, material separation, fasteners, adhesives, and barriers to non-destructive disassembly. The disassembly was conducted to identify preliminary opportunities for circular product design, component recovery, recycling, and improved end-of-life processing. The dataset records observations made during the procedure and does not constitute a complete technical description, validated engineering analysis, repair manual, or instruction for clinical reuse. Manufacturer identifiers, personal information, serial numbers, detailed product-design information, and other potentially identifying or proprietary elements were removed or generalized for public sharing.
