StarRest: Um Conjunto de Dados de Restaurantes Estrelados e respectivas Avaliações

This paper presents StarRest, a comprehensive dataset on Brazilian Michelin-starred restaurants, including customer reviews collected between 2008 and 2024 across six online review platforms. The analysis highlights the popularity of the platforms, the distribution of reviews by language, and customer activity, revealing a long-tail distribution in participation. Possible applications of the dataset are discussed, such as sentiment analysis, gastronomic trends, and personalized recommendation development, as well as challenges encountered in data collection and organization.
