青藏高原植物群落样方照片集

Plot-based photo dataset of plant community on the Qingzang Plateau provides photos of 338 sites (including 758 plots) in alpine shrub, meadow, steppe, desert, temperate desert and steppe regions on the Qingzang Plateau. These data are photo data directly obtained by the research team from 2018 to 2021 through field vegetation survey. In addition to the photo dataset, we have also established a plot-based dataset of plant community on the Qingzang Plateau. The article (doi:10.17521/cjpe.2022.0174) has been accepted by the Chinese Journal of plant ecology and the relevant plot-based data information has been published as appendix Ⅰ. This work provides a solid foundation for exploring the vegetation characteristics and regularity of vegetation zonal differentiation and determining the impacts of climate change and human disturbances on alpine vegetation and their ecological restoration. The dataset also provides a reference for the updating of the next generation of China's vegetation map. Plot-based photo dataset is stored in the Science Data Bank as folder file, which is divided into 4 folders (2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021) according to the site survey year. All photos are named after the plot number or site number-habitat photo, and the file format is jpg.
