Plankton net samples were collected from 14 sites in the Ross Sea during the austral summer of 2018 and 2019. 2 and 14 amplicon libraries were constructed for the long-read barcodes (LRBs) on PacBio and short-read barcodes (SRBs) on Illumina MiSeq platforms, respectively.
