Number of newly subsidized electric vehicle chargers in Japan FY 2010-2022

In the fiscal year 2022, 3,077 electric vehicle charging units received subsidies for their installation in Japan, increasing from 764 in the previous year. Since 2009, the Japanese government subsidized nearly 42.74 thousand chargers.
