资源简介:
Several human diseases have been associated with dysregulated expression of RNA-binding proteins (RBPs). This can be attributed to the wide variety of cellular processes that are controlled by RBPs, including RNA processing, nuclear surveillance, and RNA export. Among RBPs, poly(A)-binding proteins (PABPs) are key players in the 3' end processing and nuclear export of messenger RNAs (mRNAs). Using multidisciplinary approaches, including proteomics and transcriptomics, we aim to investigate the functional relationship between PABPN1 and ZC3H14, in addition to further characterizing the latter. RNA-sequencing shows a set of long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) that are antagonistically regulated by ZC3H14 and PABPN1.
