Animal Census Dataset

This dataset was created from the results of a livestock census of 2,128 smallholder farmers within two districts of Nepal (Nuwakot and Dhading). This data was collected in March 2017. This dataset includes the date surveyed, the district, village and ward number of the smallholder, and the number of livestock owned by the smallholder (buffalo, cattle, goat, sheep, yak, pig, equid, rabbit, chickens, and duck). This dataset was collected through the research of the project “Empowerment of Village Women for Detection and Control of Livestock Diseases in Nepal” lead by Colorado State University as part of the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems.本数据集基于尼泊尔努瓦科特县（Nuwakot）与达丁县（Dhading）两个县内2128户小农的畜禽普查结果构建而成。该数据采集于2017年3月。本数据集涵盖调查日期、农户所属的县、村落及村民小组编号，以及农户饲养的畜禽存栏数量，涉及水牛（buffalo）、黄牛（cattle）、山羊（goat）、绵羊（sheep）、牦牛（yak）、猪（pig）、马属动物（equid）、兔（rabbit）、鸡与鸭。本数据集由科罗拉多州立大学（Colorado State University）牵头的“尼泊尔畜禽疫病检测与防控乡村妇女赋能项目（Empowerment of Village Women for Detection and Control of Livestock Diseases in Nepal）”采集完成，该项目作为“未来粮食计划畜禽系统创新实验室（Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Livestock Systems）”的组成部分实施。
