Near-infrared spectroscopy efficiency in classifying Amazonian wood wastes for bioenergy generation

Spectral (obtained on the radial and transverse sides) and qualitative (basic density and moisture) data of tropical wood samples. The spectral signatures associated with multivariate models are able to accurately classify wood wastes according to the basic density, without depending on the practical experience of yard operators.
