Tumor-secreted exosomes have been noted to be critically involved in remodeling tumor microenvironments. In this study we investigated whether Snail-expressing cancer cells-secreted exosomes modulate the inflammasome activity in macrophages. Exosomes have been successfully purified from cell culture conditioned medium by differential ultracentrifugation.
