Gut microbiota dysbiosis is liked to various diseases. A thorough anaysis of gut microbiome profiling of LPS treated and untreated DSS colitis mice model was carried out. 16s rRNA sequencing revealed the presence of an opportunistic bacteria, Klebsiella, in the DSS treated group. However, Lactobacillus were present abundanty in the LPS treated mice, suggesting a positive microbial shift in the gut biodiversity, which provided protection to gut from epethial injury caused by DSS/AOM.
