An online survey in spring 2017 with 552 persons from the German-speaking part of Switzerland, which were representative in terms of age and sex, was conducted. The questionnaire included amongst others items on general acceptance, individual acceptance factors found in the literature and risk perceptions associated with BIPV in general, as well as a set of questions regarding attitudes towards specific building design prototypes with BIPV (designed by EPFL-LAST).
