The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TILDA) is a nationally representative large-scale longitudinal ageing database led by Trinity College Dublin. Launched in 2009, it collects multi-dimensional data covering health, social, economic and other aspects from 8,504 Irish residents aged 50 years and above. It has been designated as the World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Longitudinal Studies on Ageing and the Life Course.
