Comprehensive Dataset of Fast-Disintegrating Tablet (FDT) Formulations (2010–2025): APIs, Excipients, and Tablet Properties

This dataset provides a comprehensive collection of fast-disintegrating tablet (FDT) formulations published between 2010 and 2025. It includes detailed information on active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients (with quantitative amounts in milligrams), and formulation properties such as disintegration time, hardness, friability, and drug content. It represents an updated and extended version of previous datasets (2010–2020), compiled and standardized to cover all relevant formulations up to 2025. The dataset is independent and suitable for research in formulation design, data-driven modeling, and machine learning for pharmaceutical development. Each excipient column reports the amount in milligrams (mg) used in a formulation, with 0 indicating that the excipient was not used.
