This collection comprises images, survey drawings and a report from a Level 2 Descriptive Historic Building Recording at Brook Hill Hall, 205 Brook Hill, University Of Sheffield, Netherthorpe, Sheffield. The work was carried out by Humble Heritage Ltd from November 2024 to January 2025. The building record was required as a condition of planning permission (24/02547/FUL) prior demolition of existing Brook Hill Hall and associated link block. Brook Hill Hall was opened in 1925 by the Bishop of Sheffield at which time it was known as St George's Hall. It was constructed to serve as a church hall for the nearby Church of St George as part of the events to celebrate the church's centenary. It was built on a piece of vacant land behind 205 Brook Hill, which served as a church building at that date.
