Benchmark simulations for methane emissions validation and sensitivity studies

We used WRF-LES 4.7.0 to generate realistic methane plumes that represent a three-dimensional mass distribution in the atmospheric boundary layer over time. 

The main use of these simulations is the validation of methane flux rate estimations and the sensitivity analysis to different effects. Different studies are ongoing but, so far, results have been published about the impact of source typology  and a detailed study of the parallax effect induced by illumination and viewing angular conditions
