This article examines the effectiveness of the "Idea Basket" pedagogical technology in teaching synonyms in school settings. Its didactic functions, impact on the development of students' verbal activity, and improved lexical acquisition are analyzed. Teaching synonyms is an important component of language education. For many students, selecting synonyms presents certain difficulties due to an insufficient vocabulary and an inability to distinguish nuances of word meaning. Therefore, the "Idea Basket" technology plays a special role, helping to structure knowledge and making the learning process more visual and accessible.
