Lake Sturgeon Genome and Annotation
收藏资源简介:
This is the genome and functional annotation for the lake sturgeon (Acipenser fulvescens). The individual used was a female from northern Manitoba, who also provided gametes for conservation supplementation. Blood was sampled for DNA. Genome assembly was completed with HiFi and HiC reads. Genome annotation was completed with short read RNAseq data, IsoSeq data, and protein data from vertebrates and the sterlet genome. RNAseq data was from tissue-specific lake sturgeon transcriptomes (Thorstensen et al., 2023), while IsoSeq data was from n=8 larval lake sturgeon in an experiment where half were exposed to CTmax and half were sampled haphazardly from holding tanks where gill and liver were dissected. BRAKER and StringTie were used for structural annotations, while functional annotations were done with InterProScan, UniProt Swiss-Prot, and UniRef 100 databases.
