Systematic Literature Review File

This dataset is presented as part of the Master’s thesis in Information Science at the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, entitled “Critical Analysis and Evaluation of the User Experience in the Mobile Version: A Case Study at ZeroZero.” It includes two Excel workbooks: Portuguese Version: contains the original search queries, inclusion/exclusion criteria, identification steps, results per database, and final list of eligible studies with quality assessment. English Version: an exact translation of the Portuguese file, for broader accessibility. Each workbook is organized into multiple sheets covering: Final search queries Presents the precise search strings applied across Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, ScienceDirect, and the ACM Digital Library to identify literature on mobile UX and usability evaluation methods. Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria Defines the criteria used to select studies, including publication year, document type, language, etc. Identification Presents the raw retrieval counts obtained from each database for every search string (QS1–QS5). Number of results Summarises the total records retrieved by each database (after de-duplication), the number of studies deemed relevant following title/abstract and full-text screening, and the number of excluded records. QS5 (WoS, IEEE, Scopus, SD) Documents the records retrieved by Search String 5 (QS5) across four databases: Web of Science, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. ACM QS3 Documents the records retrieved by the ACM-specific query (QS3) Eligible Results Presents the final set of 39 studies included in the systematic literature review after screening and quality assessment. For each eligible study, the table lists: Record number and title Authors, year, and document type Main application/domain area (e.g., usability testing, heuristic evaluation) Quality‐Assessment Questionnaire (QA1–QA6) responses, indicating the methodological rigor and relevance of each paper These materials ensure full transparency and reproducibility of the review methodology employed in this dissertation.
