Data and code for a dataset-level licence audit of GBIF records in six jurisdictions

Archive supporting the article "Which Open Biodiversity Records Can a Commercial Product Use? A Dataset-Level Licence Audit of GBIF Data in Six Jurisdictions" (Hong and Kim, 2026). Contains the audit and analysis scripts, the audit tables (531 dataset-species pairs for Korea; 801 pairs for 10 endangered species in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Russia, Germany and the USA), the native-status table (derived flags and IUCN assessment identifiers only), the 16-source licence matrix, robustness outputs, and a snapshot of the 1,489 GBIF API responses on which every count rests, each with its retrieval time (25 September 2026 14:54-15:20 UTC and 26 September 2026 02:05-02:15 UTC). Running the scripts offline against the snapshot reproduces every table byte for byte; see README.md.
