Public survey on priorities and preferences in developing locally driven sea level rise plans in eastern coastal states in December 2017

This data set contains the responses of 503 persons affiliated with coastal communities in the East Coast of the United States. There is no personally identifiable information contained within this data set. There are 26 questions in the survey, including the consent form, 15 questions about priorities and preferences in developing community-based sea level rise plans, and 10 demographic questions (7 asked in the survey and 3 provided by the survey company). Topics include priorities for inclusion in a plan, methods to fund a plan and subsequent action, and methods to resolve conflict around sea level rise planning.
