资源简介:
Data for the publication: Runners Fatigue Earlier on a Treadmill Versus Overground: Kinematic Evaluation of a Run-To-Exhaustion<br>Where 16 participants were measured while running on an instrumented treadmill (indoor) and on a tarmac athletics track (outdoor), which is particularly rare to combine indoor and outdoor full-body biomechanical data within the same participants, including a fatiguing protocol. <br>Participants were asked to run on an instrumented treadmill at 9, 11, and 13 kph for approximately 60 seconds. In addition, a fatiguing protocol (running at their average 5K speed until total exhaustion) was performed. The same protocol is performed at least a week later at a tarmac athletics track, paced by a cyclist. For every part of the protocol there is a separate file.Raw data:Xsens MVN Link data (.mvnx) - Inertial motion capture data with 8 inertial measurement units, measured at 240 Hz. This contains IMU angular velocities, linear accelerations, sensor orientation. Includes also data from biomechanical model, including joint angles, segment orientation/acceleration/angular velocity/velocity/position (.mvnx, open XML-formatted files). All synchronized in one .MVNX file by Xsens using hardware synchronization.Heart rate data (.tcx) - Heart rate is measured by a Garmin Forerunner 245 Music watch at 1 Hz during the fatiguing protocol.Rate of perceived exhaustion (.xlsx) - A scale from 1-10 (with 1 as standing still and 10 as completely exhausted), asked every 90 seconds during fatiguing protocol.Subject anthropometrics (.xlsx) - Running experience (years), #runs/week, #km/week, treadmill experience (Y/N), dominant leg, body height, body weight, sex, body part length, location IMU on tibia + thigh.Qualisys data (.mat) (ONLY INDOOR) - Optical motion capture data at 128 Hz, measuring 3D marker positions on anatomical locations on the body (.mat). 3D ground reaction forces (GRF) and 3D ground reaction moments (GRM) at 1024 Hz, measured by an embedded force plate in the treadmill (.mat). EMG (muscle activation) data at 1024 Hz, measured by EMG sensors on the dominant leg (m.soleus, m. tibialis anterior, m.biceps femoris, m.rectus femoris, m.semitendinosus, m.gluteus maximus) muscles (.mat). All synchronized in one .mat file by Qualisys using hardware synchronization.<br>Processed data:All Xsens MVN Link data is processed and read out from the .mvnx file, and together with all Qualisys marker data, GRF, and GRM, further processed to a uniform sampling frequency (250 Hz) and time-synchronized (*.json)<br>See the README.MD file if you would like to check what data is available for which subject.
