Distribution of perpetrators of sexual abuse of minors in France 2019, by gender

In France, the majority of people who reported having been raped as children were women (four out of five). On the other hand, the perpetrators of sexual violence against minors were mostly men. Only three percent of the victims had been assaulted by one or more women.
