Microbiota in endometrial fluid and tissue of IVF-ET patients

It has recently been shown that microbiota of the endometrial cavity of patients receiving treatment of in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) are correlated with the treatment outcome. However, not much is know about the detailed profile of bacterial taxa that could be detected in the fluid and tissue samples of this cavity. In this project, we profiled the microbiota in these two compartments of IVF-ET patients. The kinds and composition of taxa in endometrial fluid are different from those in the endometrial tissue.
