This is geochemistry, HPLC, and gaseous stable isotope data used in the analyses presented in Reynolds et al.'s manuscript entitled "Delineating the drivers and functionality of methanogenic niches within an arid landfill.”<br>Metals and organics data by individual leachate pump are omitted. Only averages by cell category are provided.<br>When values are repeated for nearby sumps (e.g. LP8 and LP9 or LP10/LP11), this indicates it was studied as a composite because of low leachate yield.<br>HPLC conditions are described in the methods section of the manuscript. Individual calibration curves were generated with high support (r2&gt;0.99) for each run using in-house lab grade analytical standards.<br>Note: Beginning in March 2017, we added one additional column to our HPLC in parallel - effectively increasing its length by 2x. Hence, propionate retention times shifting from approx. 17 mins to approx. 34-35 mins.<br>Regarding carbon gaseous stable isotope data, the use of "high" (i.e. heavy isotope) standard in May 2020 sampling was due to the previous contents in the sampling container being exhausted in the core facility where the instrument was run.<br>
