Gene expression analysis applied to an animal model of Lafora disease

Lafora disease mouse-model based on knockout of epm2a or epm2bUsed to show involvement of Glial-derived neuroinflammation in Lafora disease (pubmed: 31808062). Also used to demonstrate the utility of the ExpHunter Suite R/Bioconductor package in analysing transcriptomic data. The tools was used to perform differential expression and coexpression analysis, functional enrichment, and also to train a Naive Bayes classifier to predict differentially expressed genes based on the p-values of distinct differentially expressed gene detection methods.
