Endemics of Balkan high-mountain fens: selected data and script

This package presents selected data and an R script for the paper "Plant endemism of the Balkan high-mountain fens: a community-level synthesis and their climate change perspective" (under review). For this study, we compiled an original dataset of wetland vegetation-plot data across nine countries where Balkan endemics and subendemics occur. We tested the diversity patterns for endemics, non-endemic habitat specialists of bryophytes and vascular plants, and matrix-derived taxa with respect to climatic, palaeoclimatic, edaphic, and topographic factors. The package contains: a) data on environmental predictors used for Spearman correlations, Spatial Autoregressive Models, Canonical Correspondence Analysis, and Principal Component Analysis: <SAR_data.txt> b) species by sample matrix used for Canonical Correspondence Analysis: <end_species_by_sample_matrix.csv> c) R script used for SARerr modelling: <R_codes.R>
