US Forest Atlas FIA Forest Type Groups All Alaska (Image Service)

This dataset portrays the forest type group for Alaska. Each group is a subset of the National Forest Type dataset which portrays 28 forest type groups across the contiguous United States. These data were derived from MODIS composite images from the 2002 and 2003 growing seasons in combination with nearly 100 other geospatial data layers, including elevation, slope, aspect, ecoregions, and PRISM climate data.本数据集呈现了阿拉斯加地区的森林类型群组。每个森林类型群组均为覆盖美国本土、涵盖28个森林类型群组的国家森林类型数据集的子集。该数据集的数据源自2002年与2003年生长季的中分辨率成像光谱仪（MODIS）合成影像，并结合了近百份其他地理空间数据图层，其中包括海拔、坡度、坡向、生态区以及PRISM气候数据集。
