Processed Monthly 1-km GPP and Hydroclimatic Dataset for Compound Drought Mechanism Analysis in the Huai River Basin China

This record archives MATLAB-formatted (.mat) processed input datasets used for GPP prediction and compound drought mechanism analysis in the Huai River Basin, China. The dataset supports the manuscript “An Integrated Deep Learning Framework for GPP Dynamics Prediction, Compound Drought Amplification, and Ecosystem Recovery in China's Climate Transition Zone”, submitted to Water Resources Research. The uploaded files contain monthly 1-km gridded, model-ready variables for 2001-01 to 2022-12, including GPP, potential evapotranspiration, soil moisture, SPEI, maximum temperature, vapor pressure deficit, and an integrated 3-D training dataset. These files were prepared in MATLAB and are intended as input data for model training, prediction, and subsequent drought-mechanism analyses. Third-party source datasets, including MODIS MOD17A2H GPP, TerraClimate, and ChinaMet, are not redistributed in this record and should be obtained from their original providers. This archive contains processed derivative inputs generated from those sources for the analyses reported in the manuscript.
