Original confocal microscopy data underlying Figure 4F-4I of “Newborn neurons compete with neuronal ensembles to moderate behavioral responses to stress”

This dataset contains selected original, unprocessed Nikon ND2 confocal microscopy files underlying the representative images shown in Figure 4F–4I of the manuscript entitled “Newborn neurons compete with neuronal ensembles to moderate behavioral responses to stress.” These files were deposited in Mendeley Data because their file sizes, even after maximum lossless compression, exceeded the 150 MB single-file upload limit of the journal submission system. The ND2 files are provided as losslessly compressed ZIP or 7z archives solely to reduce file-transfer size. No cropping, downsampling, channel deletion, lossy compression, alteration of pixel values, or modification of acquisition metadata was applied. After extraction, the files can be opened using Nikon NIS-Elements or Fiji/ImageJ with Bio-Formats. A separate Raw-to-Final PDF identifying the correspondence between these files and the final Figure 4F–4I images has been uploaded through the Cell Reports submission system.
