资源简介:
Database from the study investigating allocation decisions across financial and non-financial domains following fair and unfair treatment in social interactions. The research compares allocations made after prior fair or unfair treatment, depending on whether participants previously engaged in a financial or non-financial task and whether their subsequent decision involved a financial or non-financial allocation. The Database includes 671 observations. The following variables are included:sex (1 = female; 2 = male; 3 = other)year_of_birthage (years)Group (1–8; experimental conditions combining fairness × domain of experience × domain of decision)Fairness (1 = fair; 2 = unfair)Domain_experience (1 = financial task; 2 = non-financial task)Domain_decision (1 = financial allocation; 2 = non-financial allocation)Donation (number of units allocated to the recipient; range: 0–10)Fairness_rating (perceived fairness of the previous participant’s decision; 1–10 scale)Anger (1–10)Joy (1–10)Sadness (1–10)Wronged (feeling of being wronged; 1–10)Satisfaction (1–10)The study employed an online experimental design. Participants first completed a financial or non-financial task and received either a fair (50/50) or unfair (20/80) allocation from a previous participant. Afterward, they made an allocation decision themselves—either dividing 10 Experimental Dollars or assigning 10 tasks to another person—depending on experimental condition. Emotional responses to the prior treatment and perceived fairness were also measured.
