Aim of the study: investigate how shifts in N and P availabilities affect fungal community structures and functional composition in belowground habitats with increasing distance from the rootsTo adress this goal we established plots fertilized with either P, N or P+N along a geosequence in beech (Fagus sylvatica) forests, where P nutrition shifts from P acquiring (high P) to P recycling (low P) conditions.
