Municipalities concerned by the noise classification of inland transport infrastructure is a regulatory approach taken pursuant to Article L571-10 of the Environmental Code, and the Decree of 30 May 1996, which require the prefect of each department to classify land transport infrastructure according to 5 categories (1 being the noisest and 5 least noisy). From this classification shall be deducted from the noise-affected sectors within which special building rules apply.针对市镇内陆运输基础设施的噪声分类工作，是依据《环境法典（Environmental Code）》第L571-10条及1996年5月30日法令所实施的监管措施。该措施要求各省省长将陆路运输基础设施划分为5个类别，其中1类为噪声最强等级，5类为噪声最弱等级。基于此分类可划定受噪声影响的区域，此类区域需适用特殊建筑规则。
