This database contains the experimental results of a series of conducting polymers prepared by electropolymerization of ramoatic molecules for the electrochemical energy storage in aqueous electrolytes. Galvanostatic, potentiostatic or potentiodynamic methods are adopted during the electropolymerization. The energy storage performance of these films are evaluated using galvanostatic charge-discharge (GCD) method at different active material mass-normalized current densities (1, 2, 3, 5, and 10 A g-1) in the potential window where no significant electrolyte decomposition happens. Three electrode setup at room temperature is adopted, and the reference electrode is saturated calomel electrode. The counter electrode is a graphite rod. The electrolyte is 1 M H2SO4, 1 M or 2 M ZnSO4, 1 M (NH4)2SO4, 1 M KOH, or 2 M Zn(CF3SO3)2. The experimental results of the cyclic voltammetry and impedance spectroscopy of some conducting polymers are also included.
